Dominance-based rough set (DBRS)
approach is dedicated to analysis of
data with ordinal properties by the
dominance relation. Incrementally updating knowledge is a hot topic in data
mining and granular computing. This
paper presents algorithms for updating
approximations dynamically in DBRS
when adding or deleting objects in the
universe. Experimental evaluation is
employed to compare the efficiency of
the proposed approaches with its traditional counterpart. |
