Important notes

IJCIS co-published with Taylor and Francis


As of 1 January 2012 IJCIS will be co-published with Taylor and Francis, one of the major world class scientific publishers. This collaboration will greatly improve the visibility and impact of IJCIS in the Computational Intelligence community worldwide. Starting volume 5 all issues will appear on the T&F platform ((http://www.tandfonline.com).

New Editors-in-Chief
As of 1 September 2011 IJCIS has appointed two editors-in-chief: Prof. Jie Lu of the University of Technology of Sydney, Australia and Prof. Dr. L. Martínez Lopez of the University of Jaén, Spain. We trust that in their hands Da Ruan's work for IJCIS will be continued in the best possible way and that IJCIS will continue to grow in impact (7 September 2011) .

In memoriam Da Ruan
With great sadness and unbelief we inform you that our editor-in-chief Da Ruan unexpectedly deceased on July 31. All staff members of Atlantis Press express their condolences and deepest sympathy to his family. Da Ruan has been a driving force behind IJCIS right from the beginning, and thanks to his efforts the journal now has reached an international status. Da was a great editor-in-chief and a warm and friendly person. We will all miss him. (August 2011)

Impact Factor
IJCIS impact factor for 2010 has been published: it has grown to an excellent 1,471 ! (July 2011)

Subscription 2012
All users of IJCIS are invited to subscribe to IJCIS for 2012 (6 issues). Subscription includes access to all IJCIS-articles, new and old, as well as receiving a print version of volume 5 at the end of 2012. EUSFLAT
We are proud to announce that as of 1 July 2010 IJCIS has become the official publication of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technologies (EUSFLAT). Celebrating this event IJCIS has published a special Issue on Soft Computing (volume 3, issue 2).
