Atlantis Press publishes open access books across a broad range of disciplines in science, technology, medicine (STM) and humanities and social sciences (HSS). Our programme is designed to support the rapid and wide dissemination of high-quality scholarly research, with a particular focus on emerging research communities and interdisciplinary topics.

We publish monographs, edited volumes, and contributed works, either in a thematic book series, or stand-alone book, ensuring that each title meets established standards of academic rigor, transparency, and ethical publishing. All titles are made freely accessible to a global audience via the Atlantis Press platform.

All books published by Atlantis Press follow the Springer Nature Book Publishing Policies and comply with internationally recognized principles of responsible research publishing. Ethical standards are guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), including the COPE Core Practices and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

Books published prior to 2020 were produced in print and made available as eBooks via Springer Nature Link, where they were distributed through Springer Nature’s eBook collections to libraries and institutions worldwide.

To date, Atlantis Press has published more than 120 books across 22 different thematic book series as well as stand-alone monographs, edited volumes and textbooks. Book Proposals

Should you wish to submit a book proposal for any of our series or a stand-alone book, then please refer to our online book proposal form. Your proposal will be evaluated by the Series Editor(s) and/or an external reviewer who is an expert in the fields covered by the series. If accepted, the final manuscript also needs the approval from the Series Editor(s) before it will be published. This is to ensure the quality of each volume in the series. Note that book proposals outside the scope of our current series will also be considered.
