Atlantis Press Book Series
Atlantis Press publishes academic books in all major scientific areas for academic libraries but also for personal use.
We at Atlantis Press are convinced that there remains an important rôle to be played for printed and electronic books: who does not want to buy a well-written, nicely formatted book covering an interesting research subject and at a very reasonable price? We do not aim to sell our books at high prices to a limited number of institutional buyers: we think any interested individual should be able to buy our books, so we do everything to keep our prices as low as possible, without any compromise on quality.
All Atlantis Press series are supervised by outstanding scientists acting as editor or associate editor, each of them being an expert in one of the fields covered by this series. In this way a high quality of each volume in the series is guaranteed. Each new book proposal is evaluated by one of the series' editors and also the final manuscript needs the editor's approval before it will be published.
As of 1 January 2011 all books published in our book series are promoted, distributed and sold by Springer, both as e-books on SpringerLink and in print. The books are also included in the relevant Springer subject collections. Please see here for a flyer telling you about the advantages you have as an Atlantis Press-Springer author. Open Access (NEW)
As of 2014 our books can also be published as Open Access books. Please see here (still under development) for the full details. OA books will undergo the same evaluation as reviewing as any other book we publish, thus guaranteeing the same scientific quality.
