New Partnership Journal in Intensive Care Medicine for Atlantis Press

Atlantis Press has signed a contract with the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (FAHZU) to provide publishing services for their new journal Intensive Care Research (ICRES). ICRES will be the 2nd partnership journal from China in the AP portfolio.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (FAHZU) is a teaching hospital which is affiliated to Zhengzhou University. With more than 10,000 beds and annual revenues of 7.5 billion CNY in 2014, it is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the world. Intensive Care Research (ICRES) will be the official publication of FAHZU, with further affiliations to Zhengzhou University, the Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Chinese Research Hospital Association of Critical Care Medicine.

The journal's mission is to provide a platform for the communication and exchange of latest news, ideas and findings in all disciplines of critical and intensive care medicine worldwide. ICRES aims to publish expert guidelines, case reports, perspectives, commentaries, original research articles and reviews, and intends to provide a thorough overview of intensive care areas by discussing the process of intensive care pathophysiology, management, and new technologies in all disciplines of critical and intensive care medicine.

Intensive Care Research will be a fully open access journal which is expected to publish its first issue at the end of 2020 and which is scheduled to appear quarterly. Publication in the journal will be free of charge for Authors as all open access publication fees are subsidized by FAHZU.
