Proceedings Publishing Standards and Ethics Compliance

Atlantis Press applies consistent publishing and ethical standards across all its publication types, including journals, books, and conference proceedings.

All proceedings articles published by Atlantis Press are subject to the same core requirements as other scholarly publications. These include adherence to publishing ethics, transparency in peer review, and clear demonstration of originality and scholarly contribution.

Originality and Scholarly Contribution

All submissions to Atlantis Press proceedings must present original research and clearly state the specific scholarly contribution to the field. Manuscripts are evaluated to ensure that they do not duplicate previously published work and that their contributions are meaningful and relevant to the intended research community.

Editorial Responsibility and Compliance

Editors and volume editors of proceedings published by Atlantis Press are responsible for ensuring that submissions comply with the publisher’s ethics policies, originality requirements, and peer review standards. These responsibilities are reflected in the guides and instructions provided to authors and editors.

Ethics Committee Approval

For research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data, authors are required to provide a clear statement of ethics committee approval or ethical exemption, where applicable. Compliance with ethical standards is verified as part of the submission and editorial evaluation process for proceedings publications.
