- Abstract
This study examines the implementation of a filling system and document control to optimize logistics operations at PT. Awot Global Logistics Batam. The manual system previously used has caused inefficiencies, such as delays in document retrieval and an increased risk of data loss. This research applies a descriptive qualitative approach using the PDCA method, supported by the 5W1H framework in the planning stage. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that transitioning to a web-based document management system improves accessibility, audit readiness, and operational efficiency. Moreover, the system supports compliance with archiving regulations and reduces administrative errors. These improvements contribute significantly to the effectiveness of logistics management.
