Abstract

This study provides a descriptive statistical analysis and predictive analysis using the grey model GM (1,1) to examine Taiwan’s current healthcare human resources status. The following discussion results were obtained: Taiwan has achieved specific accomplishments in terms of human healthcare resources, with a relatively large overall quantity and high growth rate. However, there are still issues of the unreasonable county and regional distribution of healthcare human resources in Taiwan, indicating a need for further optimization. It is projected that healthcare human resources in Taiwan will continue to increase with a more rational structure. The predictive analysis shows that both mainland China and Taiwan will experience a further increase in the supply of human healthcare resources. However, compared with mainland China, Taiwan still maintains a higher healthcare human resource supply level. The findings of this study are of great significance for understanding the current status and future development trends of human healthcare resources in Taiwan and provide a reference for the rational allocation of human healthcare resources in mainland China.
