Abstract

With rapid speed, wide bandwidth and large covered range, WiMAX is used for building an system of elevator monitoring and alarming in this paper. The system integrates fault detection, trapped people communication and information management to inform maintenance staff. The design mentality and the structure of the system are detailed in the paper. The design provides a solution for reforming elevators by internet of things.
