- Abstract
At present, the allocation efficiency of Chengdu’s sci-tech finance resources, along with the alignment between its service system and the demands of sci-tech innovation, still lacks quantitative verification. There is an urgent need to examine the efficiency of the city’s sci-tech finance system. Based on the construction of an evaluation index system for sci-tech finance efficiency, this study employs a super-efficiency DEA model to measure Chengdu’s sci-tech finance efficiency from 2000 to 2023. Furthermore, a VECM model is applied to analyze the long-term equilibrium and dynamic interactions within the input–output system. The results indicate that while Chengdu’s sci-tech finance efficiency shows an upward trend, it has not yet reached an optimal allocation state. It is essential to optimize the structure of sci-tech finance inputs, enhance the synergy within the input–output system, and improve the transformation efficiency of financial resources into innovation outcomes.
