- Abstract
Information is an important matter of every activity, especially aviation information at the airport. Aviation information at the airport is very important for airport services users. The available aviation information will enable the passengers to get information about aircraft schedule such us the arriving and departure time, passengers will also know about the regulations at the airport, the goods which allow to be carried and the prohibited goods which potentially endangers a flight. Languages as a means of information are highly necessary to provide comprehension to passengers and users of airport services. Adi Sucipto Airport as an international airport, beside using English as the official international language and Indonesian as the national language in delivering information, also uses Javanese as a means to deliver information. This aims to the effectiveness of delivering information for passengers, such as information related to aviation security and safety factors. In relation to this research, I will address how is the effectiveness of the use of Javanese language in supporting law enforcement programs to achieve aviation safety and aviation security. Aviation safety and aviation security are two of the flight management objectives [9]. Law enforcement related to crime in the airport needs to be minimized with the Crime Preventive Program (CPP). One of the strategies used is to disseminate information on aviation safety and security regulations using Javanese language.
