Abstract

Under current conditions the investments are regarded as a tool enabling a country, an industry or a region to emerge from the economic crisis, form “the appropriate” structural shifts in the economy, and make qualitative improvements in the business activities at the meso- and the macro levels, hence the relevance of a comprehensive study on the investment activities. The article is devoted to analyzing the investment processes occurring in the modern economy of Russia’s regions, as well as the prospects for developing their investment potential.
