Abstract

Global real estate investments have been one of the popular investment areas since developments in trans-portation vehicles among countries, significant reduc-tion in travelling costs, and suitable legal arrangements for purchasing real estates in a foreign country have made it attractive. This investment decision is com-posed of three stages: Selection of a country, selection of a city, and selection of a district for a real estate. Since the selection process includes uncertain and vague evaluations under multiple criteria, a fuzzy mul-ticriteria evaluation method is needed. In this paper we use interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets to model this multicriteria and multiexpert problem.
