Abstract

Due to the development and widespread adoption of technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, there was a need to revise ap-proaches to the sustainable development of industries. A critical analysis of the existing approaches describing the industrial revo-lution, the sustainable development of economic systems, the in-novative development of the economy and economic cycles has been carried out. The elements of the internal and environmental factors of the existing production functioning in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution are clarified. The model of sus-tainable development of production in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution is formulated
