Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology and the increasing maturity of artificial intelligence, knowledge sharing has become the key for enterprises to improve their innovation ability and competitiveness. However, the promotion of inter-firm knowledge sharing faces many obstacles, especially the role of emotional factors has been ignored for a long time. Based on the Cognitive-Affective Processing System theory, this study explores the influence mechanism of organizational emotional capacity on inter-firm knowledge sharing willingness. Surveying 268 employees in Jiangxi Province, findings reveal: (1) Organizational emotional capacity significantly enhances inter-firm knowledge sharing willingness; (2) Organizational psychological safety partially mediates this relationship; (3) Organizational culture positively moderates the influence of organizational emotional capacity on organizational psychological safety, while partner firm reputation shows insignificant moderating effects between psychological safety and knowledge sharing. This research not only enriches the theoretical research on knowledge sharing, but also provides practical guidance for enterprises to promote knowledge sharing through emotion management.
