- Abstract
This study explores the impact of social support and work engagement on job satisfaction and turnover intention among radio broadcasters in West Sumatra. It employs explanatory research to elucidate the relationships and interactions between the variables under investigation. The research encompasses the population of radio broadcasters in West Sumatra, with a total sample size of 203, utilizing a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis involves normality, outlier, and multicollinearity tests, as well as SEM-based goodness-of-fit assessment using AMOS 24. The findings reveal that social support and work engagement significantly influence job satisfaction and turnover intention among radio broadcasters in West Sumatra. However, job satisfaction does not significantly affect turnover intention, and it does not act as a mediator between social support or work engagement and turnover intention in this context.
