Abstract

By using the post-modernist development paradigm, this paper aims to formulate a framework of regional sustainable economic development based on local wisdom. Channels of local wisdom, according to the author, are very appropriate to unite the people’s economic framework in each region. Because local wisdom, in addition to functioning as social capital for economic development, is also a fundamental force for the creation of the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
