Proceedings of the 2016 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Engineering (AIIE 2016)
It is exciting to announce that the 2016 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Engineering (AIIE2016) will be held on November 20-21, in Beijing, China.
As a vital international conference on artificial intelligence and industrial engineering, AIIE has made great contribution in both areas. It has aided with demonstrating and publishing advanced artificial intelligence and industrial engineering theories and putting them into practice.
The 1st AIIE2015 was successfully held on July 26-27, 2015 in Phuket, Thailand. All the papers accepted by AIIE 2015 were published by the Atlantis Press. AIIE2015 proceedings have been successfully indexed by CPCI-S (ISTP indexing). With these previous achievements, it is safe to say that AIIE2016 will continue to play a significant role in future studies in the field.
For the sake of this well prepared conference, we have received submissions from all over the globe. These papers have gone through a strict reviewing process performed by our international reviewers. All the submissions were double blind reviewed; both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous. First, all the submissions were divided into several chapters according to the topics, and removed the information of the authors, including name, affiliation, email and so on. Each submission was reviewed by two reviewers. The review results should be sent to chairs on time. If two reviewers had different opinions, the paper would be transmitted to the third reviewer assigned by the chairs. Only papers which were approved by all reviewers were accepted for publication.
With the effort of reviewers, 126 papers from over 450 submissions were eventually accepted for publication. All the papers were divided into eight groups:
Chapter 1: Machine Learning, Models and Algorithm
Chapter 2: Intelligent Control, Mechatronics and Robotics
Chapter 3: Artificial Neural Networks and Application
Chapter 4: Data Mining and Analysis
Chapter 5: Software Process and Intelligent Information Systems
Chapter 6: Applied Mechanics and Industrial Engineering
Chapter 7: AI Applications in Education and Management
During the organization of AIIE2016, we have accepted help from many people and institutions. Firstly, I would like to appreciate the Advanced Science and Industry Research Center as the organizer and the committee for their effort.
