- Abstract
This study expected to provide inputs for decision makers in setting policies for improvement of lecturer performance. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of individual characteristics and organizational characteristics on the lecturers'performance. The study design was a descriptive analytic survey with cross sectional design. Data collection used questionnaires in the total population of 81 respondents. Bivariate analysis was using Chi Square test and multivariate analysis was using multinomial logistic test. The result of bivariate analysis showed that individual characteristics: age, working period, educational level, there was statistically significant effect on lecturers' performance, with as P < 0.05. Organizational characteristics: leadership, organizational structure, rewards, there was a statistically significant effect on lecturers' performance, with as P < 0.05. The results of multinomial logistic regression analysis showed that the most dominant level of education for the good category was 6.348 times compared to age, working period, organizational structure and rewards. Conclusion: Individual characteristics and organizational characteristics were very important to be considered in determining the policy of lecturers' performance development
