Website: https://www2.utar.edu.my/bafe/ The Faculty of Business and Finance, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia, hosted the 10th International Conference on Business, Accounting, Finance and Economics (BAFE 2022) virtually via Zoom on October 12, 2022, with the theme “Creating value via ESG and sustainability in a post-COVID-19 pandemic world”. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted many people all around the world. It has upended the traditional norms of societies and disrupted the operations of many businesses. In particular, the sustainability of numerous business practices has been questioned and challenged. Therefore, all relevant stakeholders have to reconsider their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies in an effort to come out stronger from this pandemic. Overall, concerted efforts from the government, public, and businesses are required to integrate more sustainable practices over the long term. BAFE is a multidisciplinary international conference on business, accounting, finance, and economics that provides a forum for scholars from diverse backgrounds to share their most recent research findings on current global issues. This year’s conference includes topics such as digitalization in finance and accounting, industry, health and digital economy, society and sustainability, pandemic-based educational research, digital marketing, and many others. Despite the turbulent times, approximately 100 participants attended the conference. Aside from that, we received 57 papers, consisting of local papers, and international papers from China, the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, India, and Pakistan. Out of 57 papers submitted, 33 papers were accepted for presentations at BAFE 2022. Their contributions have undoubtedly sparked profound discussions, resulting in the advancement of research in the fields of business, accounting, finance, and economics. A special thanks to the keynote speakers: Prof. Dr. Catherine Prentice and Datin Sri Prof. Dr. Suhaiza Halim binti Dato Mohamad Zailani, who shared their insights on two important topics with participants. The conference maintained its well-established reputation, which was recognized by local and international scholars, thanks to our hardworking conference committee, international scientific committee, and conference editorial board. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our main sponsor, the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries, for their generosity.
