Abstract

On the basis of analyzing the security threats faced by hosts in a confidential LAN and the existing security measures, this paper designs a security management and control system for the network access control of LAN hosts. Based on the working principle and implementation details of the ARP protocol, this system realizes such functions as host registration, illegal host identification and illegal host disconnection, etc. The experimental tests show that this system can manage and control the network access behavior of LAN hosts.
