Abstract

The authors identify the role of small and large businesses in the agriculture of the Russian Federation. Using as the example the Volgograd region the place and role of small firms in the agricultural production of the Volgograd region are characterized. The cluster analysis to the development of agricultural cooperation is studied. The analysis and assessment of the efficiency of institutes and measures of the government support of agricultural enterprises in the Volgograd region are carried out. The measures for the improvement of the system of governmental support of agricultural cooperation in the Volgograd region within the regional cluster policy are suggested.
