Abstract

This paper presents a novel CA-based multiple image encryption by using a kind of two-dimensional (2-D) reversible CA, and by using a circular chaining mode of operation. The proposed method allows images to be processed in a 2-D way and makes the statistical information of each plain image in the group hidden in all cipher images. The results of computer simulations and security analyses show the good performance of our proposed method.
