Website: http://www.icdeca.com The 2023 3rd International Conference on Digital Economy and Computer Application (DECA 2023) took place from September 22 to 24, 2023, in Shanghai, China (virtual form). DECA exists as an international annual academic conference which tries to meet the needs for various kinds of digital economy and computer application and has been established as a high-quality international conference. The conference took “bringing together global wisdom in scientific innovation to promote high-quality development” as the theme. It encouraged the exchange of information on research frontiers in different related fields, connected the most advanced academic resources at home and abroad, and turned research results into industrial solutions. It also promoted the development of the fields of digital economy and computer, expanded the international scientific and academic exchange channels, enhanced scientific innovation on a global scale, and contributed to academic cooperation between China and the international community. The conference was attended by about 100 participants and hosted three keynote speeches, eight oral presentations as well as various poster presentations. The 3rd DECA covered various research fields where digital economy and computer application are used, such as cloud computing for smart IoT, blockchain in supply chain management, application of digital currency, economic development of the 5G industry, big data and network economy, etc. According to all attendees, the scientific program was excellent with a high level of presentations, and the scientific environment was fruitful; thus, all attendees had a great and creative time. Among all the keynote speakers, Assoc. Prof. Hamdan Amer Ali Al-Jaifi from Taylor’s University, Malaysia, performed a dramatic speech on Blockchain Revolution: Transforming Finance and Reshaping the Digital Economy. Blockchain technology has emerged with tremendous influence on the global financial landscape. Its evolution into a transformative power has transcended the boundaries of traditional financial systems. This cutting-edge technology, underpinned by its decentralized and immutable nature, has not merely disrupted but profoundly reshaped the financial sector. It has catalyzed innovation across various segments, from the rise of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum to the explosive growth of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and the emergence of decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms. With rounds of dramatic researches sharing and ideas exchanging, the conference was made filled with strong academic atmosphere.
