Abstract

With the advent of generative artificial intelligence and its ability to produce varied content, a new way of managing an important stage in learners’ university careers is now possible. The traditional methods dedicated to the orientation of future students remain inappropriate according to their personalized needs.

Innovative academic governance focuses on new methods and ideas. It integrates modern practices. The use of advanced technological tools is the main driving force behind its dynamism and effectiveness.

This paper implements an innovative idea using, on the one hand an AI assistant based on KAG: Knowledge Augmented Generation, a generative AI solution that uses knowledge graphs (KGs) as a database to improve the generative capacity of language models. This type of graph is a set of entities joined by relations, enabling AI systems to understand data semantically and operate efficiently. And on the other hand, to adopt innovative academic governance in Moroccan universities by modernizing the orientation process for candidates who are lost in the face of the diversification of training courses that currently exist at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Tangier Morocco.

The solution proposed in this paper will be evaluated in the context of the Master’s courses opened by this higher education establishment. It could also be extended to other establishments and courses.
