Abstract

The article studies the issues of evaluating the economic role of individual territories comprising a large urban agglomeration. By the example of the Krasnodar urban agglomeration and its constituent entity — the Dinskoy District, the authors attempt to identify the processes, threats and opportunities caused by the agglomeration’s influence on the rural area.
