Based on the requirements of opportunities and challenges in the era of big data, this paper puts forward the great significance of the information ability retraining of young teachers in military academies in the era of big data. According to the positioning and characteristics of young teachers in military academies, it is necessary to strengthen personal awareness, improve the certification and incentive system of information ability retraining, innovate the practical teaching mode, build the software and hardware environment of information ability training, and establish several full-time organizations for the continuous development of teaching assistants’ ability and other aspects to provide the strategies for the retraining of young teachers’ information ability, which can provide useful reference for the construction of teaching staff in military academies and the training of high-quality new military talents.
