Abstract

The goal of this paper is to evaluate the competitiveness of service industry in Guangxi. Firstly, we make an introduction about the situation of service industry in Guangxi, and construct the index system to measure the level of development of competitiveness evaluation. Secondly, we conduct an empirical analysis on the competitiveness evaluation of service industry in 31 major provinces and cities nationwide using factor analysis method. Finally, we make a discussion about the ranking results between Guangxi and other provinces, and put forward the strategic routes and corresponding suggestions for the improvement of competitiveness of service industry for Guangxi.
