- By using digital information, the integration of situational teaching of foreign language and modern multimedia technology enrich the contents of foreign language teaching, which provides a rich and colorful environment for English learners. It can stimulate emotional students’ experience and enhance their willing of participating in interacting with classmates. Based on cognition of teaching methods of situational teaching theory, this paper analyzes the advantages of multimedia technology in situational teaching of foreign language, thus deduces applied purpose and principles of it in situational teaching of foreign language by using the mathematical model. It provides the theory basis and new ways of teaching practice for situational teaching of foreign language.
