- Abstract
This paper explores the international dissemination challenges of Suzhou Wu Songs, a national intangible cultural heritage, on short video platforms. It identifies core pain points including rigid narrative traditions, insufficient interactivity and fragmented content production in overseas communication. Centered on content, commerce and platform dimensions, the study proposes systematic optimization strategies: improving cross-cultural communication efficiency by enhancing creators’ professional capabilities; building a cultural-commercial ecosystem through live streaming, e-commerce and cross-industry collaboration; and establishing derivative content incentive mechanisms on platforms to amplify the international influence and cultural communication effect of Wu Songs.
