Abstract

Counter-terrorism intelligence plays a critical role in counter-terrorism operations. This paper analyzes the inherent requirements of counter-terrorism intelligence work in the information age and proposes the application of Big Data in counter-terrorism intelligence from four aspects: the rapid collection of intelligence, storage and processing of intelligence, analysis and extraction of intelligence, and assistance in counter-terrorism combat decision-making. The application of Big Data technology to counter-terrorism intelligence analysis can solve the problem of complicated sources of counter-terrorism intelligence information and the ineffectiveness of traditional collection and analysis methods, thereby improving the level of counter-terrorism early warning capabilities.
