Abstract

As two local central cities, Zhanjiang and Maoming are in the west of Guangdong, wherethere are various and different dialects, mainly including Cantonese, Min dialect and Hakka. And in many areas there people communicate in bi-dialects or multi-dialects in a mixed way, typically representing the local dialects contact situation.
