Abstract

Vulnerability of power grids with distributed generation (DG) is investigated in this paper. Some vulnerability assessment indices suitable for assessment of vulnerability of complex power grids with DG are given and some special attack strategies are designed to facilitate the investigation. Simulation results show that the adding of DG can not only improve the power supplying ability of power grids, it can also enhance the reliability.
