- Abstract
Digital transformation strongly drives enterprises’ high-quality development. This study takes 2017–2023 Chinese A-share listed firms on Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges as samples, using a fixed-effects model to empirically test how digital transformation affects such development. Results confirm digital transformation has a marked positive impact on enterprises’ high-quality growth—this conclusion remains robust after stability and endogeneity tests. Moreover, a micro-level analysis of heterogeneity reveals that this facilitative impact is more distinct among large firms, industries outside high-tech sectors, and manufacturing fields.
