Abstract

The article discusses the features of educational and cognitive activity as one of the foundations of the concept of successive secondary and higher vocational education in the context of ongoing modernization and reforms in the system of contemporary Russian education. The author makes an analysis of the ECA and its substantial components in the structure of successive professional education, considering them as potential areas of development.
