Abstract

Technology-based enterprises take technological innovation and R&D capabilities as their core competitiveness and are mainly distributed in cutting-edge fields such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine. Driven by scientific and technological advancements and the digital economy, such enterprises are playing an increasingly important role in industrial upgrading and economic transformation. However, technology-based enterprises have both high grprioritize technological innovation and R&D capabilities as their core competencies and are primarily concentratedowth and risk, and their competitive advantage is highly dependent on continuous technological breakthroughs. In the development process, they face two key strategic choices: one is to “extend their strengths,” and the other is to “make up for their weaknesses.” How to optimize strategic decisions under different market environments has become a core issue affecting their sustainable development. However, existing research on the theoretical framework and empirical analysis of corporate strategic choices is still relatively scarce. Based on this, this study combines the theory of competitive advantage and related literature. It adopts a case analysis method to deeply explore the strategic decision-making logic of technology-based enterprises in a dynamic market environment to provide more targeted theoretical support and practical guidance for academia and the business community.
