- Abstract
Under the situation that enterprise is the innovation main body, research universities should locate its positioning in the national innovation system and play their proper role as soon as possible. Enhancing university-enterprise cooperation is the inevitable choice to adapt to the innovation-driven development strategy and it can provide better service for national major strategic needs, and it is an important path to realize the sustainable development for research university. Currently, university-enterprise cooperation is closer, but the depth and breadth is not enough. There exists some problems such as lack of motivation, low level, incomplete innovation incentives and benefit distribution. It is necessary to improve work ideas and establish long-term mechanism for university-enterprise cooperation, then play the support role of university in the innovation system that enterprise is the main innovation body. In the paper, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of carrying out university-enterprise cooperation for research university are analyzed using the method of SWOT analysis. On this basis, the development strategy of university-enterprise cooperation of research university is presented, and it aims to provide advice and ideas for the deep integration between university and enterprises.
