Abstract

Cultivating listening ability is one of the most important parts in foreign language teaching which is also the basis of improving students' application ability in Japanese. This paper first expounds the existing problems in Japanese listening teaching, designs effective training methods to improve the listening level of Japanese majors and then reforms the teaching mode of audio-visual course of Japanese majors on the basis of the audio-visual-oral teaching theories. This study focuses on how to train students to master listening skills effectively and what kind of training design can improve students' listening level.
