Abstract

Many women experience anxiety when entering menopause due to a lack of understanding of this phase. They often worry about impending physical and sexual changes, such as decreased sexual arousal and cessation of reproductive abilities. Additionally, hormonal fluctuations can affect their emotions, making them more sensitive and prone to anxiety. These worries are often caused by a negative portrayal of menopause that is not entirely accurate, leading to unnecessary fear and anxiety. This study aims to: (1) Develop training to overcome women’s anxiety in dealing with menopause. (2) Develop guidelines for overcoming women’s anxiety in facing menopause. (3) Develop evaluation guidelines for overcoming women’s anxiety in facing menopause. This study will use a descriptive research design by collecting data through observation and distributing questionnaires and also equipped with interviews with several respondents of high school teachers. The research subjects in this study were 50 people consisting of 5 teachers each who were facing menopause from 10 high schools The country in Manado City. The research variable that is the center of attention in the study is the need to develop the implementation of group guidance in an effort to overcome women’s anxiety during menopause in public high school teachers in Manado City.
