Abstract

Reproductive health education remains underdeveloped in many Spe-cial Education Schools (SLB), particularly for students with Multiple Disabilities and Visual Impairment (MDVI). This gap is especially critical for girls approach-ing puberty, as limited access to appropriate learning materials may hinder their understanding and readiness for menarche. This study evaluates the effectiveness of an audio-based learning tool, Disa, Billy, and Tasnya, in improving menarche-related knowledge and preparedness among MDVI students at SLB. Using a Single Subject Research (SSR) design with an A-B-A format, the intervention demonstrated a consistent and significant improvement. In the baseline phase (A1), comprehension scores ranged from 41.66% to 45.83%. During the inter-vention phase (B), scores increased progressively, reaching 79.16% by the final sessions. In the second baseline (A2), scores stabilized at 83.33%. These results highlight the effectiveness of inclusive, accessible, and multisensory reproductive health education in supporting MDVI students’ independence and understanding during puberty.
