Welcome to the Proceedings of the First International Conference on Advances in Forensics and Cyber Technologies (ICFACT 2025). The primary objective of ICFACT-25 was to promote research and interdisciplinary collaboration in the areas of digital forensics, cybercrime investigation, forensic innovation, and cybersecurity. The scope of the conference included topics such as digital, device, network, cloud, malware, IoT, and social media forensics; image, video, audio, and biometric analysis; artificial intelligence in forensics; blockchain technology; dark web investigations; OSINT; virtual autopsy; financial crime analysis; questioned documents; crime scene management; and emerging legal and regulatory issues in forensic science.
