The first International Conference on Health Sciences and Biotechnology (ICHB) is annual event hosted by Baiturrahmah University Padang, and in collaboration with College of Health Sciences Widya Darma Husada Tangerang Indonesia. This year (2021), the first ICHB was be held on November 3-4, 2021 through virtual meeting. “The role of health sciences and biotechnology innovation in the new normal era” has been designated as the conference's main theme, with an emphasis on the most current research and trends, as well as future perspectives in health science and biotechnology, in order to prepare a global sustainable approach for human well-being in the new normal period. This International Conference will serve as an excellent international forum for sharing information and research findings in theoretical and practical aspects of health science and technology, as well as their applications in the new normal era. More than 1100 university academics, scholars, practitioners, and professionals were registered to attend the conference, which was delegates from across Indonesia, the Asian region, and beyond.
