The Influence of Enterprise Culture on Organizational Performance -- Taking the Non-Material Incentive as the Mediating Variable

Abstract

With the rapid development of economic globalization, an mounting number of enterprises have made a lot of efforts and attempts to maintain and improve their own competitiveness. Research to large state-owned enterprises in Chinese industry leading GREE electric appliances as the research object, we put Enterprise Culture as the independent variable, Organizational Performance as dependent variable, and Non-material Incentives as the intermediary variable, and explore under the Non-material Incentive effect, the Enterprise Culture’s influence on Organizational Performance, and inspection Non-material Incentive in three intermediary role between the relationship. Through questionnaire survey, 150 valid questionnaires were recovered from GREE electric appliances, and the following conclusions were drawn: The consistency of Enterprise Culture has a significant positive impact on Organizational Performance, while the sense of mission of Enterprise Culture has a significant positive impact on Organizational Performance. The participatory nature of Enterprise Culture has a significant positive impact on Non-material Incentives, while the mission nature of Enterprise Culture has a significant positive impact on Non-material Incentives. Non-material Incentive has a significant positive impact on Organizational Performance; Non-material Incentives play a part in mediating the relationship between Enterprise Culture and Organizational Performance.
