- Abstract
The fact that SMEs become the backbone of the economy in a country cannot be refuted. However, the treatment, guidance and mentoring of SMEs are not done optimally in overcoming the problems faced by SMEs themselves. Until now, UMKM is still experiencing classic barriers that has always faced. Therefore, this study aims to find out what constraints faced by SMEs and how to overcome these obstacles. The majority of SMEs face the classic problems of capital, human resources and business development. However, not a few who can handle it in various ways and implemented independently.
