ICMEIM 2022 created a forum for sharing and exchange at an international level and promoted the modernization of education by studying certain educational issues. We were greatly honored to have Prof. Zehui Zhan from South China Normal University, China, to serve as our Conference General Chair. There were 200 individuals attending the conference. Divided into three parts, the conference agenda covered keynote speeches, oral presentations, and online Q&A discussion. Firstly, keynote speakers were each allocated 30–45 min to hold their speeches. Then in the oral presentations, the excellent papers we had selected were presented by their authors by turns. During the conference, four sophisticated professors were invited to address their keynote speeches. Among them, Prof. Youbin Chen from Sichuan University of Science and Engineering, China, delivered a speech on the topic: New Media-Based Learning in Action–An Integrative Approach. Using Sina Weibo as a vehicle, he told us how to seek study materials on the Internet and learn how others learn English. Additionally, Prof. Yongjun Feng from Shaanxi Normal University, China, gave a report on Research on the Application of DIPT in the Universities Online Teaching and Learning Platform in the Post-COVID-19 Era. Regarding the mixed teaching model with online teaching as the main and offline teaching during COVID-19, the research used digital image processing technology based on artificial intelligence big data to build university online course management platform and intelligently judged students’ performance in the class. Last but not least, Assoc. Prof. Adelina Asmawi from Malaya University, Malaysia, shared with us her study, Strategies for Information Management in Language Education: The Malaysian Experience, in which she analyzed the conversations with five Malaysian university language educators who are managing the impact of technology in different ways, at different levels, and in different roles. Their brilliant speeches had triggered heated discussion. Moreover, every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge. After months of well preparation and hard work, the proceedings of ICMEIM 2022 covering a bunch of papers is smoothly published. These papers feature but are not limited to the following topics: Artificial Intelligence in Education, Active Learning, Gamification for Learning, Students with Special Needs, etc. All the papers have been checked through rigorous review and processes to meet the requirements of publication. On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the keynote speakers, peer reviewers, and all the participants. Particularly, we would like to acknowledge the Atlantis Press, for the endeavor of all its colleagues in publishing this paper volume. We firmly believe that all the attendees have had fruitful discussions and gained valuable knowledge and will enjoy the opportunity for future collaborations. Committee of ICMEIM 2022
