Abstract

This paper introduces the distributed transaction processing model and two-phase commit protocol, and analyses the shortcomings of the two-phase commit protocol. And then we proposed a new distributed transaction processing method which adds heartbeat mechanism into the two-phase commit protocol. Using the method can improve reliability and reduce blocking in distributed transaction processing.
