Abstract

How to integrate traditional teaching methods with communicative approach into English teaching in China has become a hot researching subject in recent years.This paper introduces the traditional Chinese teaching methods and analyses the problems in foreign language teaching and learning in China. It also puts forward the author’s view on the issue, and some strategies are finally provided for EFL teaching and learning in China.
