Abstract

With the continuous expansion of college enrollment scale and the change of employment mode in China, the employment problem of graduates needs to be solved urgently. It is of far-reaching significance for colleges and universities to help students plan their career well. This study takes occupational values as an independent variable, self-efficacy as a dependent variable, and career planning as an intermediary variable, to explore the relationship among the three, as well as the mediating role of self-efficacy in occupational values and career planning. This study conducted A questionnaire survey on A university in zhuhai, collected 236 valid questionnaires for statistical analysis, and reached the following conclusions:(1) occupational values have A significant positive impact on self-efficacy and career planning. (2) self-efficacy has a significant positive impact on career planning. (3) self-efficacy plays a part of the mediating role. After controlling self-efficacy, the influence of occupational values on career planning is reduced but still significant. In other words, self-efficacy plays a part of the mediating role in the influence of occupational values on career planning.
