Abstract

Filtering is a main method to eliminate or reduce the noise and is also a basic step to analyzing spectral data accurately in spectral data processing. In this paper, four methods of average value filtering, median filtering, cubical smoothing algorithm with five-point approximation filtering and Savitzky - Golay filtering are used for the noise reducing in the spectral data processing, and results are analyzed and compared.
