Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation
The fields of mechatronics and robotics engineering have witnessed enormous progress in recent years. Unprecedented advances in computing hardware and software, sensor and actuator technology, and science of controls, signal processing, artificial intelligence, and computing have spurred the rapid growth of the applications of mechatronic and robotic systems. Application areas of these technologies span from advanced manufacturing systems in the automotive and microelectronic industries to the emerging fields of medical and personal care.
The 2015 3rd International Conference on Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation (ICMRA 2015) has successfully taken place in Shenzhen, China, April 20-21, 2015 and acted as a forum mainly for the Asia-Pacific community working in this field in order to facilitate aggregation and sharing interests and results for a better collaboration and activity visibility.
This conference received significant world-wide attention, as evidenced by contributions from around the world. The total number of submitted papers is 782 and 279 are accepted. All of accepted papers were subjected to strict peer-reviewing by 2-4 expert referees. This volume represents the papers accepted and all papers are of good quality with interesting content suitable for publication. We would like to express gratitude to the members of the International Scientific Committee of this conference for their enthusiastic cooperation and the success of this event. We also thank the authors who have contributed interesting papers in several subjects, covering many fields of robotics and mechatronic, and additionally for their efficiency in paper revision after receiving the reviewer’s comments. We are grateful to the reviewers for the time and effort they spent in evaluating the papers in a timely manner.
